Send Inbox Thread Message — POST /api/v1/send-message

Use this endpoint to inject a message directly into a user’s inbox conversation thread within Botsify. By specifying the bot ID, the user’s session identifier (fbId), and the message content, you can insert text into an ongoing inbox thread — useful for agent handoffs, automated follow-ups, or adding system-generated context into a live conversation.

Request

POST https://app.botsify.com/api/v1/send-message Authorization: Bearer token — include your token in the Authorization: Bearer <token> header.

Body Parameters

The unique identifier of the bot whose inbox thread you want to post into.

The session identifier for the user whose inbox conversation thread should receive the message. This is the same fbId used across other Botsify conversation endpoints.

The text content of the message to post into the inbox thread.
