# Get Bots — Retrieve All Bots for a Botsify API Key

> Retrieve all bots linked to a specific API key in your Botsify workspace. Use this to discover available bots before routing queries or managing them.

Retrieve the full list of bots linked to a specific API key in your Botsify workspace. You can pass the API key either in the request body or as the `X-Api-Key` HTTP header. This endpoint is useful for programmatically discovering which bots are available under a given key before routing queries.

## Request

**apikey** `string` *required*

Your bot API key. Alternatively, pass the same value as the `X-Api-Key` request header instead of including it in the body.

## Example

You can also pass the API key as a header:

## Response

A successful `200 OK` response returns an array of bot objects associated with the provided API key.

| Field | Type | Description |
| - | - | - |
| `bot_id` | string | Unique identifier for the bot. |
| `bot_name` | string | Display name of the bot. |
| `api_key` | string | API key scoped to this bot. |
| `status` | string | Current activation status of the bot (e.g. `active`). |
